Privacy Policy — Last Epoch Wiki

The short version

Last Epoch Wiki is a static fan wiki. It has no accounts, no login, no comment system, no newsletter, and no way for us to identify you as a reader. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. If you email us, the only personal data we hold is what your email client sends us, and we keep it only as long as needed to answer you.

Hosting and server logs

The site is delivered as static files from a content delivery network. Serving a page requires the network to process ordinary technical request data such as your IP address, user agent, and requested URL, and to keep security logs for a limited period. That processing happens on the network side, under its own privacy documentation, and we do not attempt to identify individual readers from it.

Cookies, advertising and analytics

At the time this policy was written, no advertising or analytics scripts are enabled on this site, so no third-party cookies are set by us. If that changes, the change will be visible here before or alongside it going live.

If advertising partners are enabled, they may set their own cookies and collect data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you viewed, in order to serve and measure ads. Their use of that data is governed by their own policies and privacy terms, not by this one. Where a consent requirement applies to you, the site will ask before loading those scripts rather than assuming consent.

If analytics are enabled, they are used only to measure aggregate traffic such as page views and referrers. We do not use analytics to build a profile of individual readers.

Search engine submissions

When we publish or update a page, we may submit that page URL to participating search engines so they can re-crawl it. This transmits a URL, not personal data, and no information about you is attached to it.

Third-party links and embedded content

Articles here link to external sites, including the official Last Epoch website and forum, the Steam store and announcement pages, and community-run game databases and build planners. Once you follow a link, the destination site has its own privacy practices. Video embeds, if any are added later, are loaded from third-party services that may log the request themselves.

Your choices and contact

You can browse this entire site without providing any personal data. Beyond that, any question about privacy, or a request to have something corrected or removed, can be sent to the address below and will be answered by a human.

This policy may be updated when the site changes. Material changes will be reflected in the text above rather than silently applied.
